1st Placer

Devan Padica Torres โ BARC’s 1st grass-root athlete โ a dedicated 18 year-old student of Asian College of Technology, a beloved son of 4 siblings, the eldest of proud parents from Santander, Cebu, and here he is as a determined athlete of BARC. Happy and proud! ^^

โ Devan’s favorite bible verse
Devan is by far, the first and the youngest grass-root athlete nurtured by Team BARC who has become very active with his love of track-and-field and cycling even before he was acquired by BARC last year.
Being part of Breakaway Runners of Cebu, he find it struggling at first due to balancing his priorities between his education and his athletic career with the team. Trained by our elite KaBARC Kenyan Eliud Kiprugut Kering, and by our consistent short-distance podiumer Jennifer Rose Diago Savellon , he decided to be with a group rather than in solo fulfilling his dream. He is a funny-go-lucky guy with a kind heart. He trains and bonds a lot with the rest of the members and he just loves to be in a family of active runners no matter if podium or not. Not to mention he’s been competitive to some of the races he opt to join with the team.
Happy jud ko sa BARC coz they treat me not just a runner, but a brother! ๐
